Compensation: $25.10/hr

The Community Living Program Manager is responsible for supervision of consumers to ensure their safety and well-being as well as responsible for supervision of Community Living Supervisors/Instructors.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain adequate staffing utilizing available scheduling program (i.e. When 2 Work or Teams)
  • Oversee day to day operations of the unit/location and is available 24/7 and emergency fill-in (PRN) to assure compliance with regulatory bodies and contractual obligations.
  • Assure staff compliance with policies and procedures and follow disciplinary process if/when needed
  • Provide group education- if applicable
  • Reviews all CLI documentation for accuracy and tracking/billing- if applicable
  • Performs all the essential function of a Community Living Instructor as defined in the CLI job description
  • Transport consumers as necessary
  • Log new medications and store appropriately on unit
  • Observe self-administration of medicine on unit
  • Maintain medications and medication supplies in the absence of the Director of Nursing – if applicable
  • Assist with orientation of new consumers
  • Complete paper and electronic documentation within required time frames
  • Attend staff meetings and technician trainings
  • Conduct disaster drill as scheduled (per regulation and policy) and document as appropriate
  • Supervise consumers
  • Collect and process UA’s- if applicable
  • Inspect and maintain premises for cleanliness and safety
  • Ensure safety of consumers by appropriately responding to crisis situations as they occur
  • Conduct residential orientation with new consumers and provides overview of consumer handbook and facility protocols
  • Assists Program Director as needed with evaluating, placing, and tracking referrals and coordination with community resources
  • Assists in completion of required clinical documentation including assessments, plans and reviews (ISL)
  • Provide coverage for Program Director and Community Living Supervisors as needed
  • Performs supervision of Community Living Supervisor & Community Living Instructor responsibilities on an ongoing, full-time basis including:
    • Completes Community Living Instructor work schedule and reviews time sheets
    • Develops and oversees training and development of Community Living Instructors
    • Ensures Community Living Instructors perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
    • Facilitates monthly CLI team meetings to disseminate information and conduct in-service trainings
  • Serves as liaison between clinical staff and Community Living Instructor staff to facilitate communication and coordination of treatment efforts
  • Inventory and order office and facility supplies- if applicable
  • Make decisions regarding the functioning for the site in the administrator’s absence
  • Serve as a point person for client schedules – if applicable
  • Maintain a calendar of appointments and meetings up to date for Community Living Instructors- if applicable
  • Review daily communication log/manager notes at beginning of shift
  • File forms in client’s charts and assist in keeping client records up to date in the absence of the office assistant – if applicable
  • Attend staff meetings and maintain open dialogue with technicians
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

High School/GED Required

At least 2 years relevant work experience

A valid unrestricted driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license by the end of 60-day introductory period required

Medication Technician I and CPR/First Aid certifications required
